Greater Things Decorative Stepping Stones Kit - Our Stepping Stones DIY kits offer the chance to make a wonderful decoration for ones own home, or gift for all to enjoy on special occasions!
Included in this kit:
- Stepping stone mix
- Round Moulding tray
- 5 colour paint
- Varnish
- X2 Brushes

- Measuring cup

Decide which side of the mould you would like to use as the front side of the stepping stone. If you would like to only paint, use the stencils and your imagination, then just pour the plaster mix into the mould and once dry, use the smooth side.
If you would like to make your own pattern or handprint on the backside of the mould (the side facing up), then you will need to have the tools and design ready as soon as you pour the plaster! The plaster will wash off before it sets, but it’s best to wash any tools or accessories as soon as you have finished using them.
Decoration time! Once you have a beautiful and complete solid stone, you can paint to your hearts content.
Once finished; let the paint dry before applying a coat of varnish. You might like to try our included Stencils for that more professional look. The stencils will need to be kept pressed tight against the stone to avoid the paint bleeding beneath the edges.
Top Tip: If you prefer to have a more natural, matte stone look then we suggest to not apply any varnish.
If you would like to have a shiny, and more weatherproof finish, then we recommend you apply a coat of varnish as the final step. Please share your creations with us!
